Day One

 We can start over, whenever we want. It’s a wonderful opportunity that we have.  Taking it for granted will lead anyone down a dark path. I might not always be aware, what good I release in the world.  But I will try to savor the small moments. What else can I do to make it feel like there’s a meaning to all this madness? I don’t imagine, I’m the only one with self-doubt. In fact, I am painfully aware how it infects all of us,  at some point in our lives. I’ve gotten knocked down to size,  yet again. It hurts, more than I can describe. Maybe it is possible to get out on the other side better?  I sure hope I can do the impossible for the millionth time. That is why, this is Day One.

Update 1 from the states: Delays, trials and stress.

Okay so first of all I'm really good right now but I was really really stressed about my entire trip to get to Salem, MA. Here you can read what exactly happened. I had to wake up at 4.30 am and get the last things together in my suitcase. My mom was home and wanted to send me off right so she drove me to the airport. The plane was supposed to leave at 6.25 am and we entered the airport about 30-45 minutes before the plane had to leave so we rushed up to the counter. Apparently because I was flying with Norwegian I had to go to the self-check in counter and get my own boarding pass and then afterwards go to the counter again to get my luggage checked in. After I did that, things went pretty smoothly. My mom brought me over to the gate and I had my bags checked, we said our goodbyes and I went up to my gate to get ready for the first part of my trip to the states. End of days.

This is the last day in the states. The last day in Louisiana and the last day in Baton Rouge. I feel sad that I have to go, but there is not much I can do about it now. It was an amazing trip, one that I will remember forever. I will give a more detailed account of what happened when I get home and rest up on Tuesday. For now I will say this.
