Appointments

I'm going to a contact-lense check this morning, and I'm looking forward to it, because these lenses have been annoying me a bit lately. Hopefully they tell me I can move down in strength. Actually what I really want is lasic eye surgery, but I haven't the money sadly.

Update on the podcast. Well, the site I found IS free, but they put in commercials and I don't know if I'm happy about that. Maybe it will be fine for the first time, and later (when I have a job) I'll get a site where you pay and don't have any commercials interrupting.

Well, now I'm about to go to my appointment. So I'll return later, with my podcast.

Angsty teen

I love looking at things I've written a decade ago - am I really getting that old? Then, some times you come across  a poem where you wonder what was going through you at the time. You can't really remember what brought you to that place where the poem came from. To be honest, I remember being an angsty teen and really focused on the bad things that were happening in my life, but still I can't remember who I wrote this about. I honestly always draw from my own experiences in life so this must have meant something to me. For the life of me, I wish I could remember. Day 3 - confused...

So, Day 3 is over with. Right now I'm feeling an itching to go onto Facebook. One of the forums I'm part of, I read something that was reposted from Facebook. So in a way I feel like I've missed out on something. And it was actually a very important thing I missed out on. It's frustrating that it went past me because I'm having this fast from Facebook. But I'm trying to stay strong and not fall into the trap of Facebook. Because I feel good about not being on the site all the time. It's giving me space and to be completely blunt, you realize which of your friends want to actually have a true friendship with you. Keep in touch with you other than on Facebook. I do believe though that Facebook is good for keeping in touch with people that live far away from you and that you can't text or call on a regular basis, but the people you actually have a possibility of seeing everyday I feel have become jaded by the whole Facebook generation.
